Meet our forest school leader Sophie. Sophie’s career background includes working in the education sector as well as being a professional photographer.
'I have worked as a teaching assistant in a primary school as well as leading photography workshops for secondary school students. I am currently working towards my level 3 Forest School Leader qualification and I strongly believe in the forest school ethos. Promoting children’s development and well-being within the natural world around them.
In my spare time, I enjoy outside activities such as fossil hunting and landscape photography at the beach.'
At Woolavington Primary the children already have had a taste of what to expect this year at Forest School. From making bubbles, positive stones, bug hunting and making our hammocks. We also created our very own forest school flag.
